Ordering & Delivery

Ordering

Once you have your quote, you can turn this into an order by clicking on the green 'Yes, let's make this an order!' button at the end of your quote. This will take you to the secure payment area. We use industry-standard 128 bit encryption technology validated by GeoTrust RapidSSL.

Loveflowers accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Paypal (via manually-generated invoice) and Australia Post postal cheques (no personal cheques). Brisbane brides also have the option of picking up their flowers from our Toowong workshop and using EFTPOS or credit card.

Please note: You can mix and match, delete clipboards, try different combinations for as long as you want. If you're registered you can save your clipboards between sessions. When you have decided on your absolute favourite clipboards, it’s best to submit your quote request when you’re ready to order in the near future. The reason for this is that the longer any delay between quoting and ordering, the more flowers you’ve selected will be discontinued/out of stock, resulting in having to go right back to the start and create new designs from the current selections. Please order in plenty of time for your wedding date as although we try to keep our wait queue around a two week wait, it can sometimes extend up to six weeks during very busy times. Please also remember to allow for plenty of transit time in case of missing/stolen/damaged parcels which does happen from time to time. Generally we find our brides order from two months to two years in advance - with the average around six months in advance. Loveflowers reserves the right to decline orders placed too late for the wedding date.

Our Guarantee

We are so sure you’ll love your order, our wedding flowers are covered by our money back guarantee. Should you wish to return your order, please call or email within two days of receiving the delivery. Returned goods are to be in mint condition and in the original packaging. Delivery and return charges are not refundable.

If there has been significant lack of cooperation prior to cancellation or return of an order (eg ficticious addresses/bridezilla-ness/last minute crazy stuff you wouldn't believe, but does occasionally happen) that has resulted in emergency overtime, migraines or the purchase of alcohol for staff medication purposes, then we may charge a processing fee at the manager's discretion. Thankfully 99.9% of our brides are perfectly charming and organised.

Currency Converter

All prices for the wedding flowers are quoted in Australian dollars; GST inclusive for Australian orders, not including GST for our international brides. Brides from many countries will find the exchange rate works well in their favour from time to time. Ordering from outside Australia with your credit card or Paypal is easy; your provider simply works out the conversion for you and charges your account the equivalent in your own currency. The currency converter is also available through the checkout page.

Insurance

Transit insurance is placed on all boxed orders. Within Australia, insurance is included with the first $100 of value of all registered deliveries and an additional $1.30 per $100 of value thereafter. International insurance works out to AUD$8.50 for the first AUD$100 of insured value + an extra AUD$2.30 for every extra AUD$100 of insured value thereafter. We'll figure it out for you and include it in your quote.

Delivery information

We'll figure out your postage cost for you taking into account volume/weight and destination and include it in your quote. If you are in Brisbane you are welcome to pick up your order from our Toowong workshop - select the payment on pickup option. If you pay cash on pickup we can throw in a free storage box (if paying by card the medium size storage box charge of $4 applies).

Your wedding flowers are packed securely with acid-free tissue paper and sent registered with Australia Post (within Australia) or international mail. If it's just a tiny order eg sample buttonholes or some hairflowers, it is generally sent in an Aus Post red bag, which is unregistered/uninsured. Our main dispatch days are Mondays and Fridays. On placing your order you will be advised for which week your order is scheduled to be constructed and packed. Please allow for transit time after the week for which your order is scheduled. Last minute orders are not encouraged - please order in plenty of time for your wedding date as our wait queue can extend up to 6 weeks during busy times, and jumping the queue is only considered in exceptional circumstances. Loveflowers reserves the right to decline orders placed too late for the wedding date.

If no-one is present when your parcel is delivered, a card will be left and the goods held at your local post office (unless it's a unregistered parcel eg tiny orders sent in red Parcel Post bags). A signature is required on receipt of your parcel. Once you've had a look at your flowers, remember to store them as carefully as you store your wedding dress. Keep the box closed and safe from sunlight, humidity and heat.

Damage on arrival
If there appears to be any damage, please note this immediately with postal staff and complete a green 'Customer Service Complaint' form or similar in your country, assign the entitlement to the sender and keep the strip with the reference number. Unfortunately, it has been our experience time and time again that Aus Post will do much to hinder, delay and thwart this process and avoid paying out claims. Please insist on your rights to lodge the form, email us the reference number and we will attempt to take it from there. We will replace your order promptly where necessary (ie damaged, missing, stolen goods), you need not wait for the whole claim process as we actually value our customers. Vent over ;)
